Resin cast transformers are becoming more widely used in many applications throughout commercial and industrial environs.

 

Fire safety and environmental constraints often make it impossible to install oil filled transformers in certain applications. Recent advances in epoxy resin technology has made it viable to manufacture large transformers, up to 3MVA, with line voltages up to 33KV, safely and economically.
